Brrr, it sprinkled early in the night, and we woke up to frozen droplets on our tent. It was 36 (F) by about 8am with bright sun so I hate to think how cold it was overnight! This place was recently purchased by a young couple with a few young kids as an investment, however, they told us the season is a month and a half behind as the lake is still frozen! The campsite is still mostly empty, with a few hardy RVers who seem to come seasonally, and a young kid in a tent who hitchhiked his way up here from Vancouver, he and a bunch of "compatriots" (the accents and word choice up here are CRAZY funny to us!) will be planting trees in the area for the coming weeks, he's just the first to arrive.
