Laundry

I feel like a soldier who has just come out of a battle alive. (I guess the way I imagine a soldier would feel) I have successfully put a load of laundry in the washer. Booyah!!!!!! Every time it’s a bit of a scuffle. I have to sneak around, find the floor with a free washer…then once the clothes are in I have to keep watch to make sure no one takes them out and puts their own in, or no one throws them on the floor…I tell you it’s a fight. There are about sixty girls on every floor, and only one washer and dryer. Adding to it, only three washers have water at a time as they are on time schedules. Three washers for 6 floors of girls…we get fiesty. Girls put smiles on their faces as they walk towards the various washers but truthfully, if they even scent a hint of someone else gathering their laudnry, their smile fasdes and they could break into an all out sprint… The other option is taking the laundry downstairs to the maids and paying piece by piece for it. It’s not that bad of a price, and when in dire need it’s doable…but I’m not ready yet. Not desperate enough yet. I’m still fiercly trying to do it myself…
